COPx is a global movement enabling people everywhere to solve the climate crisis by implementing the known solutions in their own communities in their own way.

For 30 years, governments negotiated climate change within safe levels. The result, however, is that a problem which seemed distant in 1995 is now an imminent climate crisis. It’s that simple: Nature does not negotiate.

The negotiations did not succeed. It’s time now for the sovereign to step in: the people.

We can’t bring the world into one conference room. But we can bring the conferences to where people actually live. 

A global climate network organized by and for the people will create thousands of synchronized events worldwide to build climate action bottom-up. Digitally connected, COPx will be the “conference of people”. Every single one delivering a bit of action right away and building political will – constituency by constituency.

We don’t stop at creating the biggest event ever. COPx organizers will implement action on the ground, build a mighty global community of practice and be a force for significant political pressure.

Across the world, we are creating a universal movement that will be visible with thousands of events mushrooming worldwide. This will make the millions of citizens committed to climate action visible and give a megaphone to those who are still overheard.

We call for community leaders like you to join in.

From there, COPx connects and empowers people in a million ways. An ever-growing network will provide guidance, mentoring, support to the millions of climate activists who now feel alone. Together we become the movement to save humanity.
